Half-way Baby!!! (20 Weeks)

How far along?: 20 Weeks
Maternity clothes? This week I dragged my friend to Forever 21... yes, yes I did.  Found a couple comfy dresses that will last me through summer.  I'm having a hard time rationalizing spending money on clothes that I'm only going to wear for a few months! Listening to the blaring music at forever 21 and shopping with teenagers is a sacrifice I'm willing to make to save a few bucks.
Stretch marks? still using my Mustela and lots of lotion to try to prevent
Sleep: Sleeping good, but Walter always sneaks up on our bed (waking me up) and lays at my feet which has added to my bathroom trips each night
Best moment this week: Hitting the half-way point this week! Feels so good to say that we are now over half-way there (since as I'm writing this I'm 20 weeks 5 days)
Food cravings/Food Joys: We went to 7-11 to get a slurpee this week and it just wasn't as good as I remember them.  Anyone who knows will understand how odd this sounds.  But I made up for it with sour licorice straws.
Looking forward to: Feeling baby kick from the outside... every time I think I can feel him, I grab Tim's hand to try to feel and he sits there blankly while I say, "There! did you feel that?"
Baby item of the week: I've been checking out car seats... any thoughts on this Chicco Keyfit 30 infant carseat?

On another note, look at this adorable pic of Max... and his dirty little puppy paws.

  2. I love reading about your pregnancy! Your excitement and gratitude just shines through. I love that you're having a boy. That's all I've experienced, and they are little pieces of heaven...rowdy, fun, messy pieces of heaven :)

  3. We have the Chicco Keyfit 30. I loved it. It's supposed to be one of the safest. The only down side is that the underneath of the car seat doesn't have that indentation that allows you to sit the carseat in the top seat of a shopping cart while you're at the grocery store/target/etc. so you have to put the carseat in the actual cargo part of the shopping cart which doesn't leave very much room for anything else. It actually kinda sucks. But once baby can sit up securely on his own then he can just sit in the shopping cart seat and leave the car seat in the car. :) oh and if you get the baby jogger stroller then make sure you buy the car seat attachment for the CHICCO car seat and not the regular one they sell. Sometimes on Amazon they are not clearly and accurately labeled. :)
